The End of the Beginning?

The final version of the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development "Asia-Pacific Guidelines for the Development of National ESD Indicators" (quite a mouthful!) has been released.

I hope you find these useful if only as a starting point for your own important work.

Perhaps more comments will appear here in the future...otherwise, enjoy! :-)

Well, gee, thanks "omar"! Thanks also for sharing your advertisement with us! I hope its a 'sustainable development'? E.g. how much of the money raised through the sale will be ploughed back into the local economy? What was demolished and/or destroyed (habitat, old buildings, cultures...) to establish your "beach condos"? Where does the water for the "condos" come from? I.e. is it depriving local people of the supply for, e.g. swimming pools? Where did the building materials originate, in protected rainforest of sustainably managed forests? How is the power generated for the "condos"? E.g. does it rely on the national power supply (possibly oil-based?) or do you have solar/wave/wind?

Best of luck with the "investment opportunity" anyhow? I hope your potential investors, at least, may consider my questions.

Regards.
